We cover almost every aspect of carpet and upholstery cleaning in both the commercial and domestic markets — from stain removal and bacterial cleans, to problem identification and maintenance.

Our principal method is hot water soil extraction, recognised by the IICRC and NCCA as one of the most thorough and effective systems for most fibre types. It leaves no residues and uses a self-neutralising compound to help carpets stay cleaner for longer.

Regular cleaning improves appearance and supports a healthier environment. For some commercial jobs we may use a bonnet buff system as a secondary method, and can apply stain protection and disinfect to a very high standard.

Flood Damage Restoration

Contamination from water escapes or flooding must be assessed and acted on quickly. After 24 hours, even a clean water flood can lead to microbial growth, changing the category from white water to grey water.

Secondary damage can occur through “wicking” or high humidity levels, affecting areas not initially impacted. Prompt action is essential. Rubies can install appropriate structural drying equipment following an initial assessment.

Mould Growth

Mould growth is often associated with flooding and should be handled by an appropriate technician. Mould spores can produce mycotoxins, some of which may be harmful.

Bleach products are not an adequate mould remediation solution and can make the problem worse in some cases. Proper assessment and correct procedures are vital.

Fire / Smoke Damage Restoration

Fire and smoke contamination can be traumatic and may have health implications. Our aim is to respond promptly and safely. Burning structures and contents can produce many gases and contaminants, and professional assessment is essential.

Blood / Trauma Scene Remediation

We are qualified in this field and have the relevant experience to deal with traumatic events. Our sympathetic approach, combined with correct procedures and specialist chemicals, supports safe and thorough cleaning.

Stain Removal

A high majority of stains can be removed as long as they haven’t been “set” by incorrect products. We have a strong success rate with red wine, tea, coffee and more.

Results depend on several factors including how long the stain has been present, fibre type, and whether products have already been used.

Hard Floor Cleaning & Maintenance

Our experience includes cleaning and maintaining surfaces such as concrete, wood, thermoplastic, ceramic tiles, marble, limestone, sandstone, and resin-bonded quartz, along with other specialist surfaces. Seals and polishes are often applied after restorative cleaning as part of an ongoing maintenance programme.
